To be honest, I live in a smaller house. That means there are relatively few large walls that would make this roller more efficient (with the possible exception of ceilings). On the other hand, I do have a large barn and I think this roller set will come in really handy for doing the outside walls. I've only used it for a short while so far, but the extension handle is fairly comfortable, it's easy to extend and retract, and the roller operates smoothly.
The included drop cloth is thick non-woven felt fabric, large enough to cover a section of floor, but would need to be moved several times to paint a room.
I wanted to try this large roller to repaint two rooms. Having the larger brush really made things go much faster. I also used this to paint a shed and the pile is deep enough to get inside the panel grooves. I've washed and reused the first roller a few times. It still works well. The telescoping handle worked well for the shed since it's a lean-to style and reaches about 12 feet.
